I've spent years training in CrossFit, Olympic lifting, and strength training. So I know firsthand how frustrating it is when a cranky shoulder or a tight hip gets between you and the things you love to do.

I started Sharp Physical Therapy & Performance because I believe care should be proactive, not reactive. I work with active adults who are tired of being told to rest, stop moving, or push through it. Those aren't answers. You deserve better than that.

My goal is simple. Find the root cause, address it, educate, and help you build a body that keeps up with your life instead of holding you back.

I also care a lot about making this accessible to everyone. You don't need a competition history or a certain fitness level to work with me. If you want to move better and feel stronger in your own body, you're exactly who I'm here for.

Do I need a gym membership to see you?
No. Your session fee covers facility access during our appointment. No existing membership needed at either location.
Do I need a doctor's referral?
No referral needed. Idaho allows direct access to physical therapists, so you can reach out right away. If imaging or a physician evaluation makes sense, I'll help you figure out those next steps.
Why don't you take insurance?
Insurance based physical therapy means shorter sessions, less time with the actual doctor, and a third party deciding what care you get. Working outside of the insurance based system allows me to provide 60 minutes of focused, individualized care every time. No limitations. No shortcuts. No red tape to work around.
Can I use my HSA or FSA?
Yes. Physical therapy is a qualified medical expense. HSA and FSA cards are accepted at the time of service.
How many sessions will I need?
Because sessions are longer and fully one-on-one, most people reach their goals in fewer visits than a traditional clinic. I'll give you a realistic timeline during your first session so you always know what to expect.
I'm not a competitive athlete. Is this for me?
Absolutely. In my eyes, if you want to move without pain and feel good in your body, you're an athlete. Whether you're training for a competition or want to carry groceries without wincing, the same fundamentals apply.
What if I'm in a lot of pain right now?
Right now is a great time to come in. Hands on care and guided movement can help calm the system and reduce symptoms creating a window for recovery.
What's your cancellation policy?
Please give me at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. I do my best to honor your schedule and just ask for a heads-up if plans change.
